The problems surrounding disproportionality are not limited to Child Welfare. In fact there may be a connection to the representation of children of color in  foster care , and the representation of people of color in prison.  Oklahoma has one of the highest rates of Black imprisonment in the US. Since the onset of the Covid Pandemic, the rate of Black Oklahomans being imprisoned has increased.
