1. What were your motives for helping this person?

My motives for helping this person included wanting to see them succeed, feeling like I would've done my job, exercising my skill set, and wanting this person to be gainfully employed.

2. Did you benefit from this relationship in any way? How?

I benefitted from this relationship by the person gaining an internship. This bought my satisfaction in knowing that I used my skillset to bring career success to someone else.

3. What was your role in the helping relationship? In what way do you think you helped this person? Looking back, is there anything that you might have done differently?

My role was to craft a resume for the person. I think I helped convey his strong suits and communicate him as a viable candidate. Looking back, I would've tried to offer a bundle in which I could offer him a direct line to hiring managers based on his industry and role interests.

4. Was there anything that this person did, said, or believed that you did not agree with? How did you react?

Nope. We were in total agreement.

5. Did you learn anything from this relationship?

I learned that I have to be able to be flexible in terms of interacting with different clients and their varying needs (I offered to do a rush delivery resume because he was pressed for time)

Great Mariyah, it's awesome to see that your client landed an internship! I would recommend expanding on this to include steps taken why you did what you did, etc. so that you can get into that habit which will prepare you for your credential. Thank you!
