This course provides verified continuing education credit for self-study of the textbook Elementary Information Security. Each topic in the course corresponds to a chapter in the textbook. Students who complete individual chapters earn 12 CPE credits per chapter.
Students earn an Open Badge for each chapter completed. Students may also earn a separate "Cryptographic Engineering" badge after completing the first 14 chapters.
Topic 18 provides a final cumulative examination on all material in the course. Students who complete this final examination earn 6 CPE credits, an NSTISSI 4011 Training badge, and a personalized certificate.
