DHS 83.21 (1) Within 90 days of starting employment, all CBRF employees must successfully training in Resident Rights. Upon successful completion of this course, you will:
- Understand the resident rights and related issues
- Interact with the resident according to the resident rights
- Assist residents in exercising their rights
- Relate the resident rights to human rights
- Develop resident Individual Service Plans consistent with the resident rights
- Determine if residents understand their rights
- Understand and be able to implement the grievance procedure under DHS 83.21(5)
- Gain knowledge of client group history
This can be used as an introductory course for new CBRF staff or for as a refresher course.
