OK CASA Academy is the required training for new CASA staff at programs around the state. This class covers the core elements of CASA programs such as the history of CASA in Oklahoma, National CASA Standards & Values, as well as Training, Recruiting, Managing and Retaining Volunteers. Though applicable to every position, this course centers on the role of Advocate Supervisors, a critical staff role in all CASA programs. CASA Academy may also be taken by staff who wish to refresh their skills and understanding of their jobs and increase their ability to effectively support CASA volunteer advocates.
