CRTeacher is home to an interactive online environment powered by the open-source software Moodle. Moodle is commonly known as a Learning Management System (LMS), or software designed to manage and provide learning opportunities via the Internet.
Moodle is used to enhance traditional face-to-face classroom instruction, often called “blended learning.” Moodle can help teachers to “flip the classroom” by providing online access to passive materials so that class time may be used for active learning. Moodle can also be used to facilitate online learning where students may never physically meet, or even interact at the same time.
This free course, from Moodle HQ, is designed for anybody who wants to use the Moodle learning platform for teaching, whether it be in a school, a university, a company or just personal interest!
